تعثَّرَ يتعثَّر، تعثُّرًا، فهو مُتعثِّر، والمفعول مُتعثَّر فيه. تعثَّر الرَّجلُ: مُطاوع عثَّرَ: عثَر؛ زلَّ، كبا، تعرقل في شيء "يخشى الأعمى التَّعثُّر- تعثَّر الفرسُ: كبا وسقط". تعثَّر المشروعُ: واجه بعضَ العقبات "تعثَّر التِّلميذُ في دراسته- تعثَّر موضوعُ زواجه".

تَعَثُّرٌ - [ع ث ر]. (مص. تَعَثَّرَ). ١. "لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ تَنْهَضَ بَعْدَ تَعَثُّرِهَا بِأَذْيَالِ فُسْتَانِهَا": بَعْدَ تَعَلُّقِ أَحَدِ رِجْلَيْهَا. ٢. "التَّعَثُّرُ بِالحَجَرِ": الاِصْطِدَامُ بِهِ. ٣. "التَّعَثُّرُ فِي الكَلاَمِ": التَّلَعْثُمُ. ٤. "تَعَثُّرُ الجَوَادِ": كَبْوَتُهُ، تَكَرْبُعُهُ. ٥.
