عَسَل [مفرد]: ج أَعْسَال وعُسُول وعُسْل وعُسُل: ١- لُعاب النَّحل، مادّة حُلْوَة يُخْرجها النَّحلُ من بُطُونه ممَّا يجْمَعه من رحيق الأزهار ويُطلق على ما يُتَّخذ من الرُّطَب وقصب السُّكَّر (يُذَكَّر ويؤنَّث) "{وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ عَسَلٍ مُصَفًّى}" العسل الأسود: عسلُ قصبِ السُّكَّر.
