جَوْرٌ - [ج و ر]. (مص. جَارَ). "فِي حُكْمِهِ جَوْرٌ": ظُلْمٌ.

[جور]: (الجَوْرُ: نَقِيضُ العَدْلِ). جَار عَلَيْهِ يَجُورُ {جَوْراً فِي الحُكْمِ: أَي ظَلَمَ}. (و) الجَوْرُ: (ضِدُّ القَصْدِ)، أَو المَيلُ عَنهُ، أَو تَرْكُه فِي السَّيْر، وكلُّ مَا مالَ فقد جَار. (و) الجَوْرُ: (الجائِرُ) يُقَال: طَرِيقٌ جَوْرٌ، أَي جائِرٌ، وَصْفٌ بالمصْدَرِ. وَفِي حَيْثُ مِيقاتِ الحَجِّ؛ (وَهُوَ} جَوْرٌ عَن طَرِيقنا)، أَي مائِلٌ عَنهُ لَيْسَ على جادَّتِه؛ مِن {جارَ} يجُورُ؛ إِذا ضَلَّ ومالَ.

(جَار) جورا طلب أَو سَأَلَ أَن يجار وَالطَّرِيق لم يهتد فِيهِ وَالْأَرْض طَال نبتها وارتفع وَعَن الْقَصْد وَالطَّرِيق مَال وَعدل وَفِي حكمه ظلم وَيُقَال جَار عَلَيْهِ فِي حكمه فَهُوَ جَائِر (ج) جورة وجارة وَهُوَ جور أَيْضا (وصف بِالْمَصْدَرِ). (أجاره) حماه وأنقذه وَيُقَال أجاره من فلَان.
