والذَّرِبُ، كَكَتِفٍ: إزْميلُ الإِسْكَافِ، وبالكسرِ: شَيْءٌ يكونُ في عُنُقِ الإِنْسانِ أو الدَّابَّةِ مِثْلَ الحَصاةِ، كالذِّرْبَةِ، أو داءٌ يكونُ في الكَبِدِ، وبالضم: جَمْعُ ذَرِبٍ، كَكَتِفٍ، لِلحَدِيدِ اللِّسانِ، ومُحَرَّكَةً: فَسادُ اللِّسانِ وبَذَاؤُه، ج: أذْرابٌ، وفَسادُ الجُرْحِ واتِّساعُهُ، أو سَيَلانُ صَدِيدِهِ، وفَسادُ المَعِدَةِ، كالذَّرَابَةِ والذُّرُوبَةِ، بالضم، وصَلاحُها، ضِدُّ، والمَرَضُ الذي لا يَبْرَأُ، والصَّدَأُ، والفُحْشُ.
