تُستخدمُ للإشارة إلى نوع من الطيور من فصيلة الببغاوات، وتُعرف بحُبِّ الطَّيرِ الذَّكرِ منها للأنثى، وتقول الأسطورة إنَّه إذا تمَّ فصلُ أحدهم عن الآخر فإنه يموت، كما يُستخدم كنايةً للإشارة إلى المحبوبين العاشقين.
